Kia ora e te whānau,
I am just resending this as I now realise new families had not been added earlier in the week! So firstly, welcome to any new members of the ASHS whānau. Our school roll had grown to over 900+ this year. Thankful that we have become the school of choice for so many more young people in the area. This newsletter is our mechanism for important updates that I tend to send as and when it is needed. You can also follow us over on Facebook for more regular informal updates.
You may have heard that MoE just announced that schools are closed for onsite instruction until Tuesday 7th February. Thankfully this does not affect us as we had opted for a late start due to our weather remediation work. Staff only days and enrolment interviews will proceed as planned this week.
I hope you are all doing as well as can be expected. Fingers crossed we may see the sun again in the coming weeks. In the meantime please make the most of a few more flexible days and we look forward to seeing you all next week. Details in the doc below.
