Year 11 students Harper, Charlotte, Shenya and Olivia investigated the decline of kororā on local beaches, working with DOC, Auckland Council and Auckland Zoo. Their research helped secure warning signs at three locations to protect the birds, continuing a family legacy of native bird rescue and rehabilitation.
